Polestar Australia - Technical Operations Specialist Our client, Polestar Australia, a highly innovative luxury automotive brand, is seeking a Technical Operations Specialist to join their Technical Operations team.
As a member of the Technical Operations Specialist and Subject Matter Expert for Polestar Australia, you will ensure quality by providing accurate and timely repair information to Service Partners and internal teams.
Acting as the key contact between local Polestar Service Points and Global Quality teams, you will support ongoing improvements and assist in managing technical training and e-learning pathways for Polestar technicians.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for: Provide technical support to the Polestar network via the Polestar Nebula Technical Support system, as well as internal technical support for various departments.
Train, mentor, and support technicians at Polestar Service Points to ensure "Right First Time" fixes, minimizing downtime for customers.
Manage and support technical e-learning pathways for technicians, ensuring KPIs are met and improving product knowledge and skills across the network.
Monitor and address vehicle concerns experienced by Australian consumers, support robust repair processes and concern resolution.
Develop, track, and implement corrective actions through collaboration with different departmental stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Malaysian warranty claims division to resolve warranty processing errors and maintain strong relationships with network stakeholders.
Provide on-ground support for Service Partners, marketing events, and the Space and CEC teams, while handling escalated customer complaints and supporting Canberra visits until a permanent solution is in place.
Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a technician.
Automotive experience and certification as an OEM Master Technician, with EV diagnostics and certifications being highly desirable.
Currently holding a Master Technician certification and current trade licence.
Strong communication skills are essential for delivering effective technical support to the Service Partner network.
You have extensive automotive diagnostic knowledge in Flex Ray, CAN, and hybrid/electric propulsion.
Drive and determination to work in an evolving, fast pace and ever-changing environment.
Valid Full driver's license as Interstate travel required when needed.
It is essential that the applicant is able to work in Australia.
Preferably an Australian Citizen or possess a Permanent Residency visa.
