About the Role As the Portfolio Performance Manager in the Retail and Commercial Cost COE team, you'll play a key role in helping to draw on many competencies and form a well-rounded finance professional.
Primarily focused on Divisional FP&A and performance management activity, this role also includes elements of financial control, policy and governance, and stakeholder management forming end-to-end responsibilities for cost related activities.
This includes providing accurate and timely financial information (actual analysis, planning and forecasting, performance reporting, divisional consolidation), day to day problem solving, and providing insightful analysis and advice covering BAU costs and investment slate/projects.
As a Divisionally aligned member of the Cost Co E you will be co-located with the Divisional CFOs, Australia Retail & Commercial Performance Management team and Business Partners, forming close relationships with our peers to deliver a seamless service proposition for your stakeholders.
While ensuring the financials are well managed, your responsibilities include driving continuous improvement of cost processes, supporting Enterprise Finance initiatives (such as the implementation of Matapae/One Stream), and contributing to making the COE and Finance a great place to work.
Role Type: Permanent Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 Work Hours: Full time What will your day look like? As the Portfolio Performance Manager, you will: Provide divisional performance management reporting & analysis to ensure that stakeholders (CFOs, business leaders, divisional insight teams) are held to account for cost management decisions.
Analyse business performance and key business drivers to identify and communicate issues requiring action and emerging trends, with a key focus on productivity and meeting group expectations.
Lead operating rhythms across the broader team in relation to month-end, planning and forecasting cycles.
Manage the monthly financial close process for Group/Division/BU costs, including finalisation of actuals, Pc P & driver based analytical review, Group/Division/BU consolidation activities, management reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
Leadership role across the Retail & Commercial Cost COE and FPM teams, with direct line manager responsibilities for 2 team members.
