The successful applicants will have experience in either an acute medical, surgical or paediatric area, excellent communication skills and a motivation to continued professional development.
Successful applicants will be supported with our well-established structured program.
Graduates will develop the advanced clinical skills and knowledge required to care for paediatric patients within our Paediatric Unit on Heath Wing Level 3.
In this role, you will work as an active part of a health care team that shows leadership and embraces change in the coordination and delivery of care to paediatric patients.
Multiple temporary positions of 64 hours per fortnight are available with offers on ongoing employment following the successful completion of the Graduate Certificate.
The Program 12 months: 64 hrs per fortnight, temporary part time (commencing 25th November 2024) In Collaboration with Melbourne University Competencies and hurdles assessed onsite by Clinical Educator.

About the facility Heath Wing 3 is a 28 bed unit and is the primary acute care facility for children and adolescents in the Barwon region.
It is a very dynamic and progressive unit that has a large turnover of patients with a wide range of conditions including caring for infants, children and adolescents with a variety of medical, surgical, oncology, orthopaedic and psychiatric problems.
Be part of our future growth with the new women's and children's facility for Geelong.
This will integrate with existing University Hospital Geelong services and will deliver additional capacity to meet increasing demand in the Barwon South West region.
Including more paediatric multiday/same day inpatient beds and expanded paediatric outpatient facilities.
