About Us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

About The Role Working in a high-calibre, dynamic and collaborative legal team, the VPS 6 Principal Lawyer role will play a crucial role in supporting the legal and governance function of Court Services Victoria.
You will work across broad areas of law, including public law, administrative law, and litigation matters.
In addition, you will be relied upon to manage complaint matters and advise on complex statutory interpretation issues and to support commercial projects across procurement & information technology.
Reporting to an experienced Manager, Legal & Governance within the Office of General Counsel, you will work across all business units within the Courts Group and work with key stakeholders to contribute to Court Services Victoria's risk management and strategic direction.
About You If you are an experienced, adaptable and practical public law, statutory interpretation and/or litigation expert with at least 5 years PQE, please apply now.
