Our opportunity As a Principal Solicitor (DA & Litigation) you will manage all prosecutions and litigations of the VGCCC, including in relation to contested disciplinary actions and litigation and support and or lead the work of the Legal Services (Advice and Tribunal) team where required.
Key accountabilities Provide authoritative, accurate and timely, strategic and expert legal advice and written briefings to the Commission, Directors and staff on gambling matters relating to investigations, disciplinary and litigation matters under the legislative, regulatory and policy framework for gambling regulation in Victoria.
Who we are looking for To be successful in this position you will have: Significant demonstrated experience in the conduct and or management of multiple contested litigation in a complex environment.
Comprehensive knowledge, experience and proven superior ability (preferably in a regulatory environment) in advocacy and the provision of legal advice of an extremely high standard on complex and sensitive matters.
