About the Role We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity within our Planning team for an experienced Statutory Planner.
This role is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner looking to take the next step in their career in a supportive and empowering environment.
As a valued member of the Statutory Planning Team, you will provide expert advice to our customers on complex planning proposals, manage key projects within the planning team, drive process improvements, to ensure quality planning outcomes for our Shire.
In this senior position, you will play a role in mentoring planning officers, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and engage with the Baw Baw community and development professionals.
About the Successful Candidate To be successful in this role you will hold relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role, working on a diverse range of complex planning applications, representing Council at VCAT, and a strong 'can do' attitude.
