About the role We're seeking a Procurement Manager to support sourcing activities across indirect corporate services categories at Transurban.

Day-to-day, you will: Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of category management plans for defined categories.
Lead the end-to-end procurement process in accordance with company procedures, including stakeholder engagement, strategy development, baseline validation, tender management, supplier negotiations, contract finalisation, supplier, and contract management.
Negotiate commercial terms to deliver best value solutions.
Support consolidation of the supplier base through negotiation of appropriate commercial supplier arrangements and/or strategic partnerships.
Support the implementation of strategic relationship management for nominated suppliers, including formal supplier performance reviews.
Achieve defined cost savings and other value add initiatives.
Develop strong relationships with internal teams.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Experience in procurement within a similar industry or related spend categories.
Proven proficiency in managing major spend categories and expertise in sourcing processes, preferably in indirect categories.
Strong skills in business process analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis, especially using Excel.
Demonstrated ability in negotiation and contract management, with a solid understanding of business and legal terms.
Impeccable ethical standards both professionally and personally.
