About you (skills, capabilities and experience) Professional qualifications appropriate to the discipline and significant experience as a leader within the profession.
An international reputation as a leading authority in the profession.
Demonstrated success in integrating and applying complex theoretical concepts to advance professional practice.
A wide network of established relationships with key industry and professional institutions, partners and stakeholders that can be leveraged to enhance the standing of the discipline, School/ Faculty and University.
Significant experience in people leadership and management, including demonstrated excellence in supervising and/or mentoring others to success.
An understanding of the key strategic issues in the higher education sector related to initial teacher education.
Term and remuneration This position is 5 years fixed-term part-time position offering 0.2 FTE (1 day per week).
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities of the position and the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
This position is designated as involving child-related work.
To undertake or remain in this position, you are required to apply for and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
