About the program Wellways Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Centres, funded by the Victorian Department of Health, form a vital component of the integrated services provided in the reformed Mental Health and Wellbeing system in Victoria.
This role supports Wellways to deliver a personal and valued service experience to people, their families and community in the region of Western Victoria, which includes Greater Geelong and the Great South Coast.
About the role As Coordinator for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver person-centred services that are safe, innovative, responsive to participant feedback, and guided by both evidence and lived experience.
You will oversee services that facilitate community connections and significantly impact the social, emotional, and physical well-being of families and carers Reporting to the Wellways Regional Manager - Western Victoria the Coordinator will be responsible for the operational oversight and reporting requirements of the centres in the region You will also need: Tertiary qualifications in social work, social science, occupational therapy, psychology or related discipline and/ or equivalent experience Demonstrated leadership experience in the mental health or healthcare sector, with a proven track record of effectively managing and leading diverse teams.
