Exciting chance to join a fabulous philanthropic foundation Full-time opportunity to work within a supportive team Hybrid working, competitive salary, and wellbeing benefits are on offer The Organisation: Our client, The George Alexander Foundation (part of The Ian Potter Foundation), is seeking a Program & Partnerships Manager to manage and administer the grant-making lifecycle and foster meaningful partnerships.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the philanthropic sector, driving impact through grant-making, stakeholder engagement, network development and managing scholarships through University Partners.
The Opportunity: Grant Management: Oversee the entire grant-making process, from reviewing and assessing applications to monitoring compliance and evaluating completed projects.
Partnership Development: Identify and develop new partnerships, assess emerging needs, and strengthen relationships through site visits and regular engagement.
Stakeholder Management: Represent the Foundation at events and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to promote knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Community Engagement: Work with the Communications Team to implement engagement plans and foster a strong GAF community network.
Operational Support: Ensure accurate records and workflows, and contribute to the overall success of The Ian Potter Foundation, supporting colleagues as needed.
Sector Engagement: Stay informed about trends in philanthropy and tertiary education, and provide strategic advice on opportunities and developments.
About You: To be successful in this role you will have: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure.
Strong analytical, research, and evaluation skills.
Experience in project management, from conception to completion.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Grant Management Systems.
Strong work ethic and respect for the values of The Ian Potter Foundation.
Commitment to teamwork and a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
Experience in the philanthropic sector and understanding of grant-making trends (highly desirable) The Offer: This is a permanent position, located in the CBD.
Our client supports flexible working, with an expectation of 3 days in the office each week.
