About the Role As a Project Director for Institutional Records Management, you will coordinate the delivery of the division-wide record management initiative to ensure compliance with the Record Management policy and associated Retention, Retrieval & Disposal (RR&D) Standard, whilst implementing BAU processes for ongoing governance and management of records across the Division.
You will also ensure that the work is effectively governed and delivered, well communicated, and adopted by the business.
The role involves coordinating the timing and scope of work, whilst focusing on successfully delivering on business outcomes.
The Project Director will track and manage the investment spend on the projects, ensuring that benefits are realized at pace.

Role Location: Melbourne Role Type: 12 month fixed term contract, Full-time What will your day look like? This role is accountable and responsible for: Defining program structure, outputs and outcomes required to deliver success Implementing the right governance and stakeholder reporting for visibility and input to decisions, prioritization, and removing roadblocks Coordinating activities across Divisional business teams, 1st and second lines, technology and operations, and across multiple geographies Engaging with Enterprise Data Risk team (owner of the policy and guidelines) to develop practical guidelines and processes to manage all types of records – being structured data in systems, unstructured data, and physical records Identifying any new resources and/or funding required to deliver on agreed outcomes, and building business cases for funding Influencing timely decisions to support program intended value and alignment to strategic objectives Reporting to the dedicated Steering Committee, as well as Risk Management Council, on the towards compliance Leading and managing program delivery and governance activities (e.g., finance, procurement, interdependencies, stakeholder engagement, risk management, resourcing, scope management, scheduling, value, change, and quality management) Leading a high-performance culture to ensure delivery meets business needs Analysing and drawing insights from complex data to make better decisions, understand opportunities or challenges to deliver customer/user centric solutions Expertly maneuvering different program methodologies driving synergies and ensuring program adherence to delivery frameworks (e.g.
ADF if applicable) What will you bring? The 'must have' knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are: Extensive experience in delivering large and/or complex programs, across project methodologies e.g., Agile and Traditional Demonstrated experience working closely with Executives and senior stakeholders, influencing and gaining buy-in Has successfully led projects on time, on schedule and within budget and realized value with quality outcomes Experience leading, motivating and managing various program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable Strong communication skills and ability to elicit/translate information in a technical/data-driven space Experience in change management - comfortable with uncertainty and have the ability to effectively manage yourself through ambiguity and change Strong organisational and time management skills Willingness to look at things differently, challenge the status quo, and innovate Experience in delivering compliance-related projects, with stakeholders spanning multiple geographies The 'good to have' knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are: Previous experience delivering changes relating to record management Understanding of the Non-Financial Risk framework You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
