In this position, you will be integral to managing and delivering key projects within our client's wholesale functions and energy analytics initiatives.
Your role will ensure project success through effective management, process optimisation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan, schedule, and execute projects within wholesale functions and energy analytics.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
Work-Stream Management: Define and document risk tolerance levels across various business aspects.
Manage projects related to procurement, supply chain management, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Oversee projects analysing energy market data, consumption patterns, and forecasting.
Lead initiatives involving enterprise data management and analytics.
Process and Procedure Skills: Utilise process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to streamline workflows.
Document current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimise operations.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise business requirements.
Ensure requirements are aligned with business goals and effectively documented.
Desired Skills and Experience: Proven experience in project management, successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.
Ability to gather and document business requirements effectively.
Interest or basic understanding of energy retail and commercial origination processes.
Proficiency in visual mapping tools (preferred).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Leadership experience in managing small teams or work-streams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
Qualification in business administration, engineering, economics, or related field preferred.
