Project Manager - Data/Reporting

Our client, located in inner Melbourne with excellent access to public transport, is on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a key data migration project.
This role involves leading the migration of all existing data to Power BI, ensuring a smooth transition to the new platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing data migration projects, particularly within Power BI environments, and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and within scope.
Key responsibilities and experience: Previous experience working on a similar, data migration project.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and providing updates on project status.
Identify potential risks, create mitigation strategies, and maintain contingency plans.
Experience working with Power Bi & Tableau is a must have.
Communicate complex technical aspects of the Power BI migration in a clear and understandable way for non-technical stakeholders.
This is an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project success and business needs.
