Grains Australia was established to deliver industry service functions on behalf of the Australian grains supply chain.
Its core functions are to establish and maintain a grain variety classification system, to provide services that maintain and improve trade and market access, to develop long term market and consumer analysis and product awareness, to support longer term demand and value creation and to provide technical support and training to participants in the Australian grains industry and to its customers.

The Role: In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, developing, and managing a portfolio of projects for Grains Australia, across the organisation's strategic pillars of Classification, Trade and Market Access, Market Information and Market Education.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Project Manager will work systematically with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that milestones are achieved, and that reporting (cost, time, quality) and timelines are managed efficiently.
The Project Manager will also identify opportunities for collaboration and co-investment with external organisations (e.g., industry, and government) and for attracting grants for the ongoing development of the Australian grains sector.
This role can be performed remotely, located anywhere in Australia.
The Person: To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will ideally possess the following: An established track record in project management (gained in a relevant industry sector) Exceptional stakeholder engagement/communication skills - to engage with growers, industry participants and the grains research community Research, grains and/or agribusiness industry experience A proactive approach to relationship management Emotional intelligence and sound commercial judgement Relevant qualifications Willingness to travel as required On Offer: To attract a high calibre administration and coordination professional to this exciting national position, an attractive salary will be negotiated.
