We are currently seeking a Fixed Term Full Time staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role:
Reporting to the Coordinator of Public Space, we are seeking a Project Manager who can bring their skills and experience in:
Delivering public space projects under Council's Capital and Operational Works Programs
Overseeing project management milestones from project feasibility analysis to procurement
Working collaboratively with Council staff in other service areas, government and private stakeholders to foster a commitment to high quality design outcomes within Council's public spaces
To be considered you will have:
Experience in the delivery of public space projects.
An understanding of the scope and process of planning, design and delivery of the built environment.
An understanding of Council estimates, budgeting and purchasing procedures.
A relevant degree or diploma course with several years of relevant experience.
Sound knowledge of design, building and construction industry current practice and legislation.
