About the Role At Agile Psychological Medicine Clinics (a PM) we believe our community should have access to personalised, flexible therapeutic care at their first interaction with public mental health services.
We have a team of smart and dedicated psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists who are passionate about providing this care and we are looking for another psychologist to join our team.
What you will be doing: Meeting with clients referred from Monash Health psychiatric triage, emergency or other mental health services and jointly with the client, come to an understanding of the issues and the client's needs.
Provide psychological treatment - make a difference to the lives of our clients by providing timely and flexible psychological interventions.
Routinely measure the outcomes of your work and have this inform your work going forward.
Be part of a strong and supportive clinical team where we support each other to do interesting and challenging work.
How you will be supported in your role: This is a psychology-specific role and presents a fantastic opportunity to use and develop your psychology skills within a very supportive team.
Psychology and Specialist Services at Monash Health offers regular professional supervision, peer support, and the opportunity for career development to all of our 200+ psychologists.
We established Australia's first Psychology Registrar and Graduate Education Program to support our early career psychologists and to support senior psychologists to maintain Psy BA supervisor status.

About You: You are an accomplished psychologist with a passion for providing high quality psychology care.
You are a flexible thinker with the capacity to self-manage.
You have experience delivering mental health interventions and you are competent in one or more of the following: cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), Eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) or motivational interviewing (MI).
You lead by example, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based psychological treatment to all clients.
You are interested in a psychology specific role in public mental health.
This is a part-time position 3 days per week, primarily based at our a PM Dandenong clinic.
This position is a fixed term position (family leave cover) until 1st of August 2025.
What You Need: Current Psy BA registration.
Current driver's license and Working with Children Check.
