Job Description: As the Q&FS Value Stream Technologist , you will be the primary partner for the Value Stream, driving the quality agenda, leading implementation and governance of all Q&FS requirements; including operational QMP compliance, Food Safety Management (HACCP) and pre-requisite programs (GMP etc.).
You will be a key member of the cross functional value stream and the site Q&FS team.
You will advocate for all things Quality & Food Safety and report back into your team with anything from the Value Stream.
You will be able to build strong, trusted relationships across all teams whilst leading from the front with a strong continuous improvement mindset.
What are we looking for? Degree in Food Science/Technology or related science/technical discipline Experience within R&D/Q&FS is required for this role Experience in auditing of Quality Management Systems Motivate, influence and engage others to achieve agreed objectives Engage with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
What will be your key responsibilities? Accountable for managing the food safety program within the value stream including achieving compliance to Global food safety standards with any required external standards (FSSC 22000) Responsible HACCP lead for the value stream Managing the quality management program within the value stream including compliance to the Mars Quality Management Process (QMP) Accountable for GMP and CCP/o PRP programs within the value stream and ensuring adequacy of pre-requisite programs to support the food safety program.
Drive continuous improvement of the quality and food safety programs for the value stream Governance for key operational Q&FS requirements for value stream R&D lead in value stream FMOS meetings and quality reviews First line Q&FS incident management including handling escalation to Q&FS and PRIMP incident owner.
