Ringwood Private Hospital is seeking an experienced acute medical/surgical Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established nursing team.
This position sits within our Medical/Surgical Unit, a part-time position is available.
As one of the leading cancer hospitals in Melbourne's outer east, Ringwood Private Hospital provides high quality care for patients from diagnosis, including all aspects of treatments as well as end of life care.
Ringwood Private Hospital treats patients across a range of specialty areas and offers a wide range of medical and surgical services, using contemporary equipment, in a state of the art theatre setting.
With a focus on providing patients with full service healthcare, Ringwood Private offers coordinated cancer support services for all patients by a dedicated clinical team.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team Providing evidenced-based nursing care Ensuring patient and staff safety Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs Maintaining current Registration with AHPRA Obtaining a Working with Children check (if relevant) Having specialty nursing experience (desired) Committing to Quality Patient Care Complying with ACQSHC National standards Exhibiting sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills Demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills Working well independently and within a team More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff, and visitors is our highest priority.
Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, a current Working with Children's check, and proof of immunity to specific infection diseases prior to appointment.
