We're looking for experienced Registered Nurses to work in our In Home Nursing Service (IHNS) team in the West, East, North, and South of metro Melbourne as well as in the Macedon Ranges Shire.
Our In Home Nursing Service (IHNS) provides in-home and post-acute care for clients from paediatrics to aged care.
Working in different homes every day, your ability to quickly analyse your client's needs and work with them in a respectful way is vital.
This is not an office-based role and requires travel with you visiting homes in the West, East, North, and South of metro Melbourne as well as in the Macedon Ranges Shire.
A typical day will have you: Undertaking nursing duties for the client to maximise the client's wellbeing and healthcare at home Monitoring and advising of risks in and around the client's environment Providing baseline assessment information, ongoing care recommendations and/or appropriate interventions Ensuring the continuity of client care by liaising with hospitals, other community services, doctors and allied health professionals Co-ordinating a written nursing care plan for clients and assisting with the implementation of this plan Observing and promptly reporting any changes in a client's behaviour or health/wellbeing We're looking for someone with: A Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration 2-3 years experience in Hospital in the Home, Emergency, Critical Care, Acute Care, Aged Care and/or Community Nursing Self-driven with excellent client/patient management and clinical skills Customer service focused, with the ability to provide client and family education and support Friendly, positive, and able to build relationships that make a difference A champion of integrity and respect Fully licensed to drive in Victoria with a reliable fully insured vehicle Why work with us? $40.74 - $48.39 per hour, plus super, annual leave and sick leave (if part-time) Permanent, part-time role or casual Make a difference in your community by providing in-person care within the Central metro, West, East or South of metro Melbourne Not-for-profit salary packaging for $15,800 per year for general bills and expenses, plus an additional $2,500 for meals and entertainment - offering you more take-home pay with less tax!
