Your Role at St John of God Geelong Hospital We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified, Registered Nurses to join our highly skilled and multi-disciplinary team.
You will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive patient care, as well as the coordination and supervision of care delivered by junior staff and students.

This opportunity is with our 3 East ward, which combines specialties of ENT, Vascular, Plastic surgery, and general medical.
We are a passionate, young, and vibrant team dedicated to providing the highest quality care to all.
We also specialise in paediatric surgical care for procedures including ear, nose and throat (ENT), general surgery, dental, and orthopaedics.
The Position Provides direct total patient care to patients to achieve identified outcomes in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures and Care Paths.
Demonstrates knowledge of and functions in accordance with legislation and common law affecting nursing practice, acknowledging accountability and responsibility for own actions.
Ensures Infection Management policies and procedures are available to all staff and adhered to and implemented.
Assists in the completion of incidents/hazards/injuries reports.
Participates in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for activities that could pose an OHS risk.
Communicates effectively with all customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising both formal and informal channels of communication.
You will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated knowledge of current practices and trends.
To succeed, you will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to identify and solve problems, and a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

The Benefits: Salary: $68,093 - $96,175 (prorata for part-time basis) + 11.5% superannuation.
Permanent full-time role available.
