About the role: We have a rare permanent part-time opportunity for motivated Registered Nurse, Division 1 to join our Day Surgery Unit team at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
You will be responsible for providing quality nursing care for all patients requiring dental care in the Day Surgery Unit from pre-admission through to discharge.
This is a great opportunity to further develop your nursing skills and experience in a fast-paced environment with a friendly team.
You will have: Qualification as a Registered Nurse, Division 1.
Minimum 2 years' experience in peri anaesthetic nursing.
Experience in caring for paediatric and specialist needs patients is desirable.
An up-to-date Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check.
Post graduate qualification in Anaesthetics/Recovery nursing (desired).
You will be: Empathetic, caring and kind – always putting the patient first! Someone who has high attention to detail.
A self-starter, takes initiative and has a passion for good patient outcomes.
