About us South West Healthcare's Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) is a specialist service for young people aged 0-25yrs and their families.
With three embedded specialist streams: Infant Child and Family for 0-11 years old, and the Youth Streams for 12–25-year-olds consisting of the intake and short-term intervention and ongoing care streams.
About the role Our Youth team is seeking a passionate and dedicated clinician to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinical specialists.
As we work together to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for youth aged 12-25.
Our Senior Mental Health Clinicians are responsible to ensure the provision of evidence informed and developmentally appropriate treatment, care and support, in partnership with community-based services, primary health providers and the broader mental health and wellbeing sector for youths aged 12-25 and their families.
The role requires you to use your clinical skills to provide: Evidence based assessment.
Direct service provision to groups and individuals.
Primary and Secondary Consultation to mental health and wellbeing sector partners including General Practitioners and Paediatricians.
Community Development and Education as appropriate to the role.
Successful applicants for this position may be eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to $10,000.

What you bring The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent team building skills with experience in mental health clinical services an advantage.
Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and initiative with proven ability to work autonomously as well as an ability to work with limited direction, be self-motivated, and provide effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
You're proactive, flexible, and resilient and happy to work autonomously, use your initiative, and have a high attention to detail.
You will be a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered nurse, have at least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services and completed either a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Masters of Mental Health Nursing (or other relevant Post Graduate Course) required; or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program.
