We are looking to hire an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager to join the team at our Fulfillment Center (FC) Horsley Park, Sydney.
The Reliability Engineering Area Manager is the line manager for a team of engineering technicians.
They maintain the focus on safety by training, developing and coaching their team.
Key job responsibilities Lead, support and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring site operations are maintained in a safe, standard and efficient manner.
Work with the team and the wider network to harness the technical expertise available and build solutions.
Support the Reliability Engineering Manager as they work with the Site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for all staff.
Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for the shifts they own by organizing and directing the training program for the team.
Manage local projects or support Australia wide projects as assigned by the manager.
Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.
A day in the life You'll be based at one of our operational sites, which allows you to give practical guidance to your team and get a clear vision of what's happening at your site.
This involves collecting data and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
You'll also have a chance to create an operational plan to make the site more productive and efficient.
That will involve setting up new projects that improve everything from operational processes to equipment maintenance.
After safety, the most important part of the role is leading your team and managing their performance and development, including organising additional training.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Horsley Park, NSW, AUS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS A degree in a technical discipline Relevant experience in managing people in an engineering team Relevant experience as part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment that handles a variety of complex business processes Relevant experience in liaising and managing relationships between a variety of stakeholders including third-party vendors Experience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience of working with statutory regulations such as compliance checks and machine safety protocols Experience of using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems Experience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) #J-18808-Ljbffr
