Renewable Energy Project Manager/Project Engineer - Octopus Australia

Job Description The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of Octopus's projects at all stages of the project lifecycle including origination/investment, development, construction, and operation.
Our project managers/engineers are expected to: Manage the construction stage delivery of renewable energy projects, managing scope, program, budget, and stakeholder engagement to achieve the best project outcomes.
Provide engineering support to the wider business including: Providing technical input into due diligence for investment processes.
Supporting development and procurement activities.
Evaluation of operating plant performance and investigation of issues.
Supporting with investor relations.
Qualifications We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: Prior experience in construction project delivery where you gained project management skills and furthered your engineering expertise.
The ability to communicate with and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and diverse team.
A self-starter with tenacity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
An engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
Eligibility to work in Australia, visa sponsorship is not offered.
