The role South East Water's (SEW) Customer Experience Group is now seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented Reporting Analyst to join their newly formed Operational Excellence team, reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager.
As a reporting specialist, you display exceptional stakeholder partnership capability and proven effectiveness in translating business needs into requirements.
You have an innate understanding that these strengths are what translate into your ability to design, develop and deliver high-quality operational reporting that supports the Customer Experience group to achieve optimal performance.
Some of the key accountabilities of the Reporting Analyst will include the following: Providing high-quality reporting to facilitate informed planning and decision making with a strong focus on operational performance and activities.
Understanding business needs, gathering requirements and translating these into functional reporting and data solutions.
Undertaking efficient design and development of reporting outputs that provides the Customer Experience group with actionable insights.
Undertaking analysis, synthesis and visualisation of data from a variety of sources and preparing Power BI and other reports.
Developing and maintaining reporting governance and documentation to provide the Customer Experience group with reliable and accurate data.
Connecting and guiding users in the use of the reporting suite to support a positive, interactive experience and promote self-sufficiency and reporting capability uplift.
Provide user support to the Customer Experience group including investigation and resolution of problems in reporting outputs.
Who are you? You're a passionate, customer focused Reporting Analyst with a minimum of three years' experience in data visualisation and reporting, using Microsoft Power BI (and other mining tools) or other related reporting and analytics tools with a demonstrated ability to deliver high quality outcomes.
Although tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or other relevant field would be beneficial, equivalent work experience in related roles dealing with all forms of complex data will be considered.
You'll possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel (Advanced), have exceptional attention to detail, along with excellent analytical skills to be able to present complex datasets in a clear and concise manner, using your well-honed influencing skills to elicit compelling action.
Along with the above crucial requirements, you'll also possess the following skills and experience in order to excel in this role: Strong organisational skills to plan, organise and achieve milestones and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to provide and receive meaningful feedback, and the capability to plan and work to tight deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of data governance, management, security and privacy.
Demonstrated skill in data mapping and migration.
Ability to simplify complexity and translate this effectively into reporting and communication.
A deep understanding of customer data, with the ability to analyse and convert insights into measurable and meaningful actions.
Advanced computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously with previous experience, using Salesforce and Panviva knowledge software.
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic and regulated environment with the ability to balance business, customer and employee needs.
Ability to deal with ambiguity with the capacity to develop a clear course of action and make effective business decisions despite, at times having incomplete information.

We're accepting applications for this exciting opportunity until Monday 30 September 2024! This role is remunerated between $101,563 - $114,918 + super and the salary on offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience.
