About Your New Career Employment Type : Permanent Full Time; 38 hours per week Position Classification : Health Manager Level 3 Remuneration : $122,850 - $139,559 per annum + annual leave loading + 11% Superannuation Location : Sydney Local Health District Wide Services; Stanmore Requisition ID: REQ518884 The Opportunity You will be responsible for the coordination and management of revenue improvement initiatives across the Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) in accordance with Ministry of Health and SLHD strategic directions.
You will have a key role for ensuring that frontline operational processes are in compliance with various Ministry of Health Policy and Procedures, Commonwealth Legislation and Guidelines and SLHD Policy and Procedures.
The Ideal Candidate will have...
Tertiary qualifications in business or health management and/or experience with revenue improvement within a Public Health Organisation.
Experience with the Public Health Sector revenue management processes and requirements including Private Health insurance and its relationship to the Public Health sector, knowledge and understanding of Activity Based Funding and its role in the Public Health sector and Commonwealth rules and regulations in relation to billing in the Public Health sector.
