Overview: Are you passionate about occupational health and safety? Do you have the expertise to advise on and deliver practical solutions to identify and mitigate risks? We are seeking dedicated Safety Advisors to join our client, working on a prestigious contract with the government.

About the Role & Client: As a Safety Advisor, you will be a vital part of our client's OHS consulting specialists.
You will be responsible for delivering and advising on practicable solutions to identify and mitigate risks in the workplace.
Reporting to a Senior OHS Consultant, you will work closely with government counterparts and workplace managers to provide professional and technical OHS advice and guidance, ensuring strategic safety objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and mitigate risks by implementing practical solutions.
Conduct site assessments and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Develop and implement safety training programs for the clients.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on safety assessments.
Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or any relevant field; however, a Certificate IV OHS coupled with relevant experience will be considered.
Sound knowledge of OHS legislation, current issues, and the ability to provide OHS advice comfortably.
Excellent time management and organisational skills; be structured in your planning and communicate your work with the team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; not afraid to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & Roster: You can be based anywhere in metro or regional Victoria, with travel up to four days a week to various sites/locations.
This is a Monday to Friday roster offering flexible working arrangements.
