This pivotal role will drive the growth of our student information system, Scholarion.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales professional, adept at collaborating within a matrixed sales environment to achieve success, and able to prioritise deal engagement for maximum impact across a broad sales territory.
Scholarion is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and is a dedicated platform for managing schools.
It uses the best features of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to deliver seamless digital experiences, all in the one system, and accessible on any device.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet targets and expand our client base.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities, using your consulting expertise to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Lead or actively contribute to the entire sales process, from initial engagement to contract negotiation and deal closure.
Collaborate with delivery, marketing, and technical teams to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular sales reports, outlining key targets, trends, and highlights, while analysing data to refine the sales approach.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and generate leads.
Working Conditions: Permanent, full-time role Based in Melbourne Onsite Willingness to travel interstate as required What will make you successful in this role? Over 10 years of proven experience in product sales and delivery within the IT/technology/software/telecommunications sector, preferably within the Education industry.
Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of business growth and consistently achieving sales targets.
In-depth understanding of customer buying preferences, market dynamics, and key drivers, with the ability to translate these insights into sales engagements that deliver value to our customers.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence all stakeholders within the sales ecosystem.
Strong forecasting and reporting capabilities, with a solid grasp of key financial metrics, ROI (Return on Investment) assessment, and market insights analysis for both near-term and long-term business health.
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and articulate them as compelling business value propositions.
A proven, consistent record of success in selling to large enterprise-level customers, with established relationships at the C-suite level.
Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
