About the Role MSS Security is seeking professional and dedicated Security Officers to join our team for a variety of high-profile major events.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property at some of the most exciting and prestigious events across the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of event security, working alongside a leading provider in the industry.
We are looking for individuals with strong work ethics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and confidence.
These casual roles are offered on a rotating roster across multiple sites in the Melbourne region, with the flexibility to work during major seasonal events.
Key Responsibilities The duties of the role include, but are not limited to: Provide crowd control and ensure the safety of attendees at large-scale events; Monitor entry points, conduct bag checks, and enforce event access policies; Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies; Collaborate with event staff and law enforcement to manage potential risks; Maintain a visible presence to deter disruptive behaviour or unauthorised access; Ensure compliance with event-specific security protocols and procedures.
We Are Looking For Current VIC Security licence with crowd control; Certificate II in Security Operations; Current First Aid certificate; Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security; Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods; Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with approachability; High level computer literacy skills; The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
