Our client is a well-established boutique accountancy Business Services practice located in a bustling, upscale inner Melbourne suburb of St Kilda.

Our client offers a flexible work arrangement where you can work 1 day from home (any day you choose) and 4 days in the office.
The role: Due to the continued growth in our clients practice, they are looking for a motivated & driven Business Services Accountant professional to work "hands on" with their staff and directors and engage directly with clients in providing them outstanding service and advice.
This is a true development role where you will have the opportunity to learn from the Directors whilst actively contributing to all types of decisions taken by the practice.

Preparation of BAS / IAS Returns including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll &/or review of client prepared work; Preparation of financial statements for a wide variety of client entities and industries; Preparation of Individual, Company, Trust & SMSF Income Tax Returns; Liaising with all practice stakeholders - Clients, ATO, ASIC, State Revenue Offices etc; Review work of others within the practice; Assist directors with strategic matters as required; Minimum Requirements: At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
To be considered for this role you will be: CA or CPA qualified; Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business; At least 3 years experience in a similar role; Proven ability to work on multiple client engagements at any one time; Superior eye for detail over your work and the work you review of others; Highly motivated self-starter with a constant desire to learn and up-skill for the development of the individual, our team and clients; Sensational client service ethic with a "can-do" resolve which will delight and exceed client expectations; Exceptional communicator (written and verbal) with clients, stakeholders and fellow team members; MUST have full working rights in Australia; What's in it for you?
