Department: Department of Families, Fairness and Housing THE ROLE This senior role, located in the Agency Performance and System Support (APPSS) team Goulburn Area, East Division, has responsibility for monitoring the performance of external service providers, including monitoring and implementation of the Agency Monitoring Framework (AMF).
The Agency Performance and System Support program is critical to achieving departmental objectives of a connected, collaborative service system and driving good client outcomes.
This includes delivering critical contract management and performance monitoring functions and ensuring funded organisation performance targets are met and client safety and wellbeing needs are met.
The APSS program works closely with funded community service organisations (CSO) to ensure services provided are of the required level and in accordance with funding and service agreements.
The role also has a focus on working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations in the Area.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Negotiate, manage and monitor a diverse range of service agreements for funded organizations as required, against program and service targets, key performance indicators and benchmarks and support organizations to understand reporting requirements and tools to interpret performance data.
Be responsible for and lead allocated portfolios, and/or special or complex projects and service development initiatives and provide cross-divisional and branch advice as required.
Conduct CSO liaison and/or visits to support performance monitoring, implementation of service development initiatives and capacity-building.
COVID-19 VACCINATION The department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice , given their individual circumstances.
