Be THE Project Manager on a $150m, 100ha redevelopment intermodal site in Altona. Revenue and project security for 3+ years. Senior Associate Project Manager – Contaminated Land & Remediation to join one of Australia's fastest movers in the CLM consulting space on a $150 M, 3 year project redeveloping an intermodal site in Altona. The Project: In short, it's a large Remediation project from Assessments / Investigation (PSI/DSI), Remediation Action Plans (RAP) to Remediation and Validation. The site has both soil and groundwater issues with Resins, PCBs, and Plastic Manufacturing contaminants with a number of vapour extraction systems and remediation methodologies involved; very technical and interesting work. This is an EPA Audited Site. You will report to the Project Director but oversee the dedicated project team delivering this flagship project in VIC. The Project Director who you report to is hugely reputable in the Remediation and Contamination landscape, and holds a National role within this Environmental Consultancy, so this role is pivotal in freeing him up to do his wider duties on a day to day basis. Best described as a technical Project Manager – Review reports, some writing, commercial and financial skills, and good acumen with clients. We really need someone who can run a project of this size and scale. The Wider Group: We are viewing this as an office builder, a project that firmly stamps the business in Melbourne and will take headcount from 28 to 40. The wider company has offices nationally and circa 300 staff – comprising of mostly Environmental Scientists and Engineers across CLM, Hazmat, Risk Assessments, Hydrogeology, and EPA Auditors. Beyond this project, the team has also won millions of dollars of work across Defence, Industry and regular developer clients, councils and government agencies in the past few months so initial strategy to put existing staff on this project have gone out the window. Perks: Gender neutral paid parental leave (20 weeks). Purchased leave scheme. Smartphone allowance. Annual free skin check ups. Mentoring programs and industry memberships. 50hr professional development time and clear development pathway. Subsidised gym memberships and other wellness incentives. Support towards industry recognised qualifications. Corporate philanthropic program. EAP & internal Mental Health Officers. Requirements: Contaminated Sites Management and Remediation experience as a consultant. 10+ years experience. Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering related to Contaminated Sites. Live in Melbourne and know the VIC EPA regulations. PR or Australian Citizen a must. If you're interested in putting your hat in the ring for the above role, please get in touch asap. The role is being recruited exclusively through myself & I will be shortlisting next week. Rest assured your application will be held in confidence.
