The Senior QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the quality of our software products reaches the standards expected by the customer and ensuring their continued satisfaction with Telstra Health.

The Automation QA Analyst role is responsible for creating and executing test plans, both manual and automation, to ensure that the solutions produced by developers are tested thoroughly in a timely manner, while working with other BA's, UX designers, and the team's technical lead to understand and refine requirements and create acceptance test criteria for features.
You will hold a pivotal role in the successful delivery of quality solutions which adhere to customer needs, in accordance with the agreed functional and non-functional requirements.
Software quality assurance Participate in the whole software development lifecycle, from concept to release and support.
Write concise user acceptance test criteria for features and enhancements to the software products.
Contribute to the suite of test plans, both manual and automation, for the software platform.
Test solutions created by developers to ensure that they work as expected.
Raise bugs and identify areas of concern to the development team.
Assist with troubleshooting issues to resolve bugs found in the code.
Team participation Actively participate in all the practices that the agile development team engages in, including daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with all members of the agile development team.
Raise risks and issues as appropriate.
Suggest ways to improve team processes or introduce new practices where beneficial.
Training Ensure skills are kept up to date through training and self-learning.
Develop an awareness of emerging technology and trends in IT.
Support Assist developers in providing top-level support for issues that are escalated from the Software Support Team.
Examine available error logs and telemetry data to assist in the troubleshooting of issues.
Assist in issue resolution by reproducing production issues in pre-production environments.
About you: 5+ years of experience in software testing, including exposure to all facets of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Ability to create comprehensive test plans and to test web-based systems from all angles, from a variety of browser and device platforms.
Ability to document bugs and communicate defects effectively to developers.
Ability to create automated tests using tools such as Selenium and Spec Flow.
Experience with Selenium Web Driver with C#, Page Object Model, BDD, Coded UI and programming skills using C#.
API testing experience on web-based or mobile applications using tools like Postman.
Knowledge on non-functional requirements of performance, scalability, and security concerns.
Ability to write SQL database queries.
Experience in writing manual test cases for complex requirements that cannot be covered by automation.
Knowledge of agile software development principles and practices, experience working in an agile development team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable: Knowledge of Mobile application testing will be an advantage.
Any cloud experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and App Insights is considered desirable.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter will be an advantage.
Experience working with offshore teams will be an advantage.
Demonstrable experience with Unit Tests, Integration Tests, and end-to-end tests is desirable.
