Are you ready to drive innovation in road infrastructure? We're looking for a passionate Senior Data Collection Officer to support the team based out of our depot in Somerton, Vic.
In this dynamic role, you will spend the majority of your time behind the wheel of our state-of-the-art data collection vehicles, collecting vital data that shapes the future of road design and asset management across the country.
You'll be at the forefront of technology, helping our customers make informed decisions with the data you gather! Your expertise will then be used to process and report on the data you've collected, ensuring that our deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
Success in this area means delivering exceptional value to our customers every time! WHAT YOU'LL BRING Valid Australian Drivers Licence.
2 to 5 years experience in a computer programming and coding role, experience in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a bonus.
Proven experience in project management, overseeing people, delegating work and delivering on time.
Flexible to travel interstate when required.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and listen to clients.
Analytical Thinker, able to identify and maximise improvement opportunities.
Motivated and faster learner with the ability to adapt and learn new systems that enhance the mobile data collection business.
Strong safety focus and actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies.
