Experis is working with a well-renowned, market leading organization who is looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to help architect, build and scale data infrastructure that powers their analytics and machine learning capability.
Successful candidates will have strong experience with Azure Stack and Power BI.
This is a permanent role with a competitive salary on offer! This role will see a highly technical data specialist work collaboratively in a team of high performing and analytical data experts and other business stakeholders.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources into our data systems.
Lead the deployment and optimization of cloud-based data infrastructure on platforms like Azure, utilizing big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop.
Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability for large datasets.
Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and governance practices to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data.
Required Experience 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and building data pipelines, data models, and cloud-based data infrastructure.
End-to-end Power BI experience.
Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, and best practices in designing scalable data systems.
Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability and reliability of data pipelines.
