About the Role As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will play a key role to develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Data Governance framework that ensures data quality, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
You will work with multiple stakeholders across the organization to enforce data practices in Group Technology to meet the compliance requirements.
Your day-to-day operations will include data quality management, data stewards and ownership, monitoring and ensuring compliance with data regulation, data lineage, data mapping and metadata management.
Role Type: Permanent Role Location: Melbourne Work Hours: Full time What will your day look like? Your key accountabilities will include: Develop, establish, and implement Data Governance principles, processes, and solutions to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in the domain.
Develop, establish, implement, and maintain processes, controls, and assessments on data-related compliance activities, such as Data Impact Assessment.
Provide practical solutions across data program increments and engage multiple stakeholders to align Data Accountability standards and manage interdependencies strategically with other Data Management teams.
Streamline controls and processes to maximize efficiency on applicable policies and standards for Data Regulations.
Conduct data-related compliance activities with stakeholders to assist them in meeting the duties of their role.
Control and oversee the data management including roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, controls, and processes in the Data Governance Framework.
Develop, implement, and monitor Data Quality to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, uniqueness, and integrity.
Continuously improve, simplify, and deliver better experience in Data Governance by developing new, innovative solutions, services, products, or propositions.
What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Demonstrated knowledge of Data Governance, data quality and data management practices including data-related regulatory requirements.
Good understanding of data architecture and conceptual data lineage and data visualization.
Strong analytical, numerical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
Good business analysis skills, including elicitation techniques and the ability to define requirements in complex and challenging environments.
Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, evaluate the outcomes, and iterate.
An end-to-end understanding of the customer journeys involved in uplifting Data Governance at ANZ.
