About The Role Reporting into the Head of Financial Crime & Payments Compliance, this role will provide data support to drive transformation-based programs of work to uplift the scalability of critical AML/CTF and Safer Gambling processes and controls including developing Power BI dashboards (including designing data queries, analysing data and provide insights).
The successful candidate will support the design and implementation of system solutions to meet regulatory changes, internal and external audit findings and compliance incidents.
Responsibilities Include: Assist with the periodic review and testing of data-based TMP controls, including analysis of trigger outcomes and rule design Maintain, update and optimise existing Power BI dashboards to facilitate the presentation and extraction of meaningful data Work with the AML teams to design and optimise processes, systems and controls to add additional performance or scalability to existing activities with data support Support the Head of Safer Gambling Compliance and Assurance to design and develop data-based trigger rules based on detailed analysis of the customer base and identified behaviour profiles Analyse business data to provide insights and intelligence to identify risk areas and propose criteria and measures for risk management controls Work with stakeholders to understand data related problems and deliver timely, accurate and meaningful insights to solve them This role will be based in Melbourne, VIC.
About You Advanced experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, and ability to derive insights from data Strong Excel skills, such as VBA, macros, and report building including SQL Proficiency to extract and analyse relevant data from various source systems and translate into actionable insights Proven experience in making customer centric and risk-based recommendations and decisions from performance indicators and data The Perks We work hard and play hard, so along with a competitive salary and generous performance-based bonus, here's some of our other perks: 25 days annual leave (that's right, a whole extra week!)
