Senior Fund Accountant Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our team on a 6-month contract.
As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the financial reporting process, ensuring that all reports are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce accurate and insightful financial statements, providing clients with the information they need to make informed decisions.
Manage the year-end audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Utilise your analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities, providing clients with valuable insights into their fund performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
Drive process improvements, streamlining accounting procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services or super fund.
CPA/CA qualification preferred.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting requirements and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Experience managing a team, with a track record of motivating staff to deliver exceptional results.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
