Our client is seeking a Senior Industrial Relations Consultant to join their team in Melbourne CBD.
This role involves providing advice and ensuring compliance with the industrial relations framework, supporting the delivery of strategic ambitions through fostering trust and respect with colleagues, customers, and the community.
This role offers the opportunity to be involved in Data & Analytics from the beginning, managing relationships with FSU, responding to complex queries, and writing assurance statements.
The successful candidate will thrive in an intense environment, providing advice and ensuring compliance with industrial relations frameworks and legislative obligations.
This is a project-based role that requires a fearless attitude and a strong orientation towards payroll.
What you'll do: Provide strategic advice to P&C and business stakeholders.
Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements.
Think broadly and innovatively to ensure a compliant response that enhances their EVP in a rapidly changing environment.
Manage parts of the Enterprise Agreement strategy development, negotiations, implementation and compliance.
Prepare for and represent the company within various industrial commissions and tribunals, briefing legal representation where necessary.
Provide advice and support the development of guidelines and policies.
Support the development of changes that support Future of Work Program initiatives.
What you bring: 10+ years' experience in industrial/employee relations, including specialist expertise in employment law.
Experience in negotiating Enterprise Agreements and contractual terminology.
Experience with determining Enterprise Agreement and legislative requirements for complex payroll systems.
Experience with engaging Unions and great working knowledge of our Industrial Relations system, Acts and laws.
Tertiary qualified with a degree in Employee/Industrial Relations/Human Resources or related discipline.
