About the role
The Senior Manager – Delivery is pivotal to the success of CS&, as it involves the development of a coherent program of strategic initiatives, including business case development, sequencing, and dependency mapping. You will collaborate closely with the CS& leadership team and a broader stakeholder delivery group to expedite the Collections strategy, ensuring swift and effective delivery through agile methodologies.
The Senior Manager Delivery holds delivery accountability for key initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed in alignment with established objectives, timelines, and budgets. This role is also responsible for establishing and managing a robust project governance and change management process.
Some of what you will do:
Lead and manage program scope including people leadership responsibilities for Project Managers assigned to initiatives.
Prepare progress updates for Executives and/or Boards, detailing risks and mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to delivery timeframes.
Be accountable for the delivery of initiatives, ensuring projects are completed in alignment with objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Develop full scale program/project management plans.
Manage strategic partners involved with the delivery of projects.
Establish and run a successful project governance and change management process.
This role requires someone who possesses:
15+ years' experience in delivering large, complex projects and/or programs of aligned projects.
Experience working in a cross functional delivery team environment.
Knowledge of Project Management applications such as MS Project, Visio, financial tracking tools.
Experience with working with strategic partners.
Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
Hold some formal accreditation in agile methodology – desirable.
Certification in at least one project management discipline / methodology, e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, AIPM (CPPM), PMI (PMP) – desirable.
