About the role Sportsbet is the market leader for online sports and racing wagering in Australia, and is one of 4 international divisions within Flutter Entertainment, a publicly listed FTSE100 and NYSE company.
This senior role will be focused on running the annual strategy agenda, including designing the annual strategy, running enterprise level governance, and evolving the way we deliver strategy.
Responsibilities include: Organise and execute on the annual strategy development process, while evolving the design and approach each year.
Translate enterprise wide annual strategy to core pieces of work (i.e., work with stream leads to define approach).
Support People and Culture team in development of communication plan of strategy.
Evolve/design enterprise-wide governance forums that will track delivery of annual strategy.
Collaborate with stream leads to define key metrics and milestones that will be tracked.
Lead tracking of deliverables (in a light touch, low tax way).
Chair monthly and quarterly governance sessions with LT and stream Leads to drive progress on priorities.
Actively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Provide ad hoc support for strategic streams as it relates to how they deliver their outcomes (i.e., design stream governance, support in resourcing asks).
About You Strategy consulting background (preferably top-tier, with 2-5 years' experience).
Strong experience in strategy development and ongoing management – setting up strategy workshops, governance, and tracking delivery.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Financial and commercial acumen – solid financial toolkit (including P&L and balance sheet management).
Strong problem solving ability, able to run a tight, well-framed process without laying a tax on the business.
Ability to work closely with others to drive alignment and actions to achieve key outcomes.
Undergraduate degree (e.g., Commerce, Engineering, Law, Science) – top of class.
MBA (beneficial, not required).
