Position description: Senior Manager Threat Protection (AML-CTF & Sanctions) Closing date: 15 September 2024 Join us as we re-shape our growing Financial Crime Risk (FCR) team and play a key role at the Leadership table.
With significant experience in AML/CTF & sanctions Risk Management, leading operational Financial Crime Risk teams at a leading international or domestic financial institution, law enforcement or intelligence agency, you have best practice technical expertise in AML/CTF & Sanctions.
You bring to this role prior experience supporting the execution of innovative strategies, exposure to change management, and a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
A skilled communicator with experience in presenting to Boards and Senior Management, your strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders will ensure your success.
As the Senior Manager Threat Protection (AML/CTF & Sanctions) you'll get to: Report to the Head of Customer and Threat Protection and with no direct reports, you will provide a blend of strategic and operational leadership across our Fraud functions.
Shape and support the implementation of our next 3-year strategy that will deliver leading customer protection and financial crime operational services to the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group.
Guide, coach, and enable the Customer Protection Fraud teams to deliver a quality, high-performance and customer-focused service.
Champion clear appetite statements, industry best practice in operational management, standards, training, and threat mitigation across the Group's financial crime control environment.
Support the provision of clear insights and reporting to the Board and Executives of the Group regarding the performance of the financial crime framework against formal Fraud risk appetite statements.
This is a full-time, permanent position which can be based in Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide, Sydney, or Brisbane.
