Role: Senior OH&S Officer This newly created role will actively support and enhance the implementation of Homes Victoria's occupational health, safety and wellbeing systems and procedures with a particular focus on housing construction.
The role will also assist in the identification of process improvements and the development of activity-focused documentation and tools.
The Safety team supports the implementation of the Departments and Homes Victoria's Corporate and People Strategies with this role contributing as directed where their skills can support the outcomes.
Are you? Passionate about delivering effective, accurate, and informative safety and quality advice? Effective at collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders who may have varying degrees of knowledge with respect to occupational health, safety, and wellbeing systems and procedures? Equipped with strong time management, verbal, written, reporting, and communication skills to share complex matters simply and can self-manage personal priorities? Accountabilities Include: Coordinating a broad range of health and safety activities, including consultative forums and processes, workplace inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversight of the delivery of the Occupational, Health Safety, and Quality Assurance Program across our live construction sites.
The collection, recording, and analysis of health safety wellbeing and quality data to produce recommendations and reports to management.
