THE ROLE The role of the Senior Package Coordinator contributes to the implementation, coordination and monitoring activities associated with individualised and flexible funding packages to improve outcomes for children in Out of Home Care in line with the Best Interests Practice Framework.
This role will be responsible for planning, coordination and stakeholder engagement to co-design, assess, implement and monitor individualised and targeted supports to meet the needs of individual children, their families and carers, providing flexible and innovative placement prevention and out of home care solutions for children.
The position reports directly to the Team Leader, Flexible Packaging Team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Undertake and lead active packaging processes for children exiting residential care, and any further client cohorts in scope for flexible funding packages.
Undertake the necessary work involved in preparing and chairing panel presentations for a child and the related follow up.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication networks across key stakeholders.
