Job Description Your main job duties will include owning the entire payroll function, including: End-to-End Payroll Processing: Independently manage the entire payroll process for approximately 100 employees, including fortnightly payroll for 70 employees and monthly payroll for 30 employees.
Complex Payroll Management: Handle payroll complexities due to rostering and time attendance systems, EBA application, and manual processing.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll within set deadlines.
Full Payroll Responsibility: Oversee all aspects of payroll, including managing employee entitlements, onboarding, and payments.
Payroll Software: Currently using MYOB, with the potential to be involved in a payroll project, possibly implementing ADP.
Experience with similar payroll software is essential.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure strong knowledge and application of statutory compliance affecting payroll, including payroll tax, Work Cover, Superannuation, and taxation.
Compliance Management: Responsible for statutory compliance and payments, including payroll tax, Work Cover, Superannuation, and tax.
Work Cover Management: Manage Work Cover claims and provide support for staff on Work Cover.
Finance Functions: Ideally, you will have experience in other finance functions such as finance, accounts payable, or accounts receivable, to support the team, especially during staff leave.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a small team environment is crucial.
You will be required to support the team and contribute to various administrative functions.
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of payroll end-to-end experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing industry.
They will be able to work well within a small team environment, be open to taking on new tasks, and get involved in payroll projects.
