Currently, we are in partnership with a Victorian agency dedicated to emergency services, undertaking a significant program of work to optimise its People and Culture (P&C) processes.
As a Senior Project Manager/Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and completing these process optimisation initiatives.
This role offers an initial 8 month contract and requires 1-2 days a week onsite presence in Blackburn North Vic.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive roadmap and sprint plan to guide the project to success.
Team Management: Lead and coordinate a team of P&C subject matter experts, fostering collaboration and ensuring efficient delivery.
Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Change Management: Ensure the teams are effectively engaged throughout the project to minimise resistance to change and maximise adoption of new processes.
Workshop Facilitation: Lead workshops to gather requirements and inform the broader P&C transformation program.
About You: You are a proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a drive for results.
You are a collaborative team player with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
You thrive in dynamic environments and adapt readily to evolving project requirements.
Essential: Minimum of eight years experience in a project management and organisational change management role.
Strong expertise in change management frameworks and methodologies.
Proven experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Ability to work in complex environments and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of project management and Agile methodologies Desirable: Experience working on government or health sector projects.
Background in Information Technology (IT) transformations.
Change management certification (e.g., Prosci).
Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Change Management or a related field.
