We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Geoenvironmental team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

What You'll Do: As a Senior Project Manager, you will be integral to managing and delivering high-profile projects involving below-ground engineering, including earth structures, foundation improvement, and water storage structures such as lined ponds and storage dams.
Your role will encompass: Project Leadership: Lead and manage complex geoenvironmental projects, focusing on below-ground engineering aspects such as subsurface environmental risks, geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
Solution Development: Develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions tailored to project needs, ensuring technical excellence in all aspects of below-ground engineering.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring project delivery aligns with their expectations.
Technical Documentation: Prepare and oversee detailed technical documentation throughout various project phases, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Project Management: Manage project scope, budget, and schedule effectively, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
Oversee risk management and quality assurance processes.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Lead by example and contribute to the professional development of team members.
Strategic Contribution: Assist in operational management and contribute to strategy development and execution to enhance project outcomes and business growth.
Core Skills and Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering.
Professional Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on below-ground engineering projects, including subsurface environmental risks and foundation improvement.
Project Management Expertise: Proven track record of managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Demonstrated ability to handle scope, budget, and schedule management effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in geosynthetics, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
Ability to develop and implement advanced engineering solutions.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience in guiding teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Client-Centric Approach: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and project success.
