You will collaborate closely with the CEO to ensure successful project execution, alignment with strategic objectives, and high-quality outcomes.

Your new role: Performance Monitoring - Track and report project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Portfolio Oversight - Oversee the organisation's project portfolio to ensure projects are aligned with strategic objectives.
Project Management - Lead key projects across the organisation.
Mentorship - Offer guidance and mentorship to senior leaders to improve their skills and effectiveness.
Prioritisation - Help prioritise projects based on their value, risk, and strategic alignment.
Resource Optimisation - Optimise the use of resources across the project portfolio.
Risk Identification - Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Issue Resolution - Assist in resolving issues that may arise during project execution.
Reporting - Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, including senior management.
Stakeholder Management - Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
Change Management - Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or projects.
Compliance - Ensure that projects adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and methodologies.
Your skills and experience: Consultant or industry background.
Project management experience, preferably in the stormwater management industry.
Demonstrated ability to work across various levels within the organisation.
Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Strong business acumen.
Knowledge of stormwater asset maintenance and recycling plant operations desirable.
Experience in leading project teams and mentoring team members.
Ability to develop, manage, and track projects (incl.
costs). Risk management and resource allocation.
Strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and diverse tasks.
