About the program We are about to bring the first Ruby's Reunification Program to Victoria.
Ruby's is a voluntary therapeutic residential and counselling service for young people who are experiencing family conflict and are at risk of homelessness and who need a safe place to stay in the short term while they and their families work towards reunification.
Ruby's program was started by Uniting Communities in South Australia and has been successfully running since 1993.
The model is underpinned by evidence-based best practices, including family therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, adolescent development, trauma-informed care and strengths-based practice.
