Your new organisation is a high performing Australian owned business, specialising in world class industrial equipment & accessories nationwide.
Partnering with European state of the art truck manufacturers, your new organisation works on vacuum, drain cleaning, hydro excavation and regenerative street sweepers – customising them to client standards, with the end product achieving exceptional results.
Your new role Your new role will see you reporting to the Victorian Service Manager, with the business being based local to Cranbourne.
Commencing in the workshop at 6 / 7am start (your choice), your new role will see you adhering to working on heavy vehicles, fitting off & building as per customer requirements.
You will have a strong mechanical background in heavy vehicle equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
On the rare occasion you will be required to adhere to a field service call out, when the field service team is at capacity.
Albeit rare, this could see you on an afterhours call, or interstate visit (fairly distributed within the team).
All tools of trades ie; car, ipad will be provided in this instance.
Your new role will see you perform routine maintenance, inspections repairs, and overhauls on variety of equipment.
Paramount will be your dedication to safety, excellent customer service, up to date with technology and systems regularly utilised, & commitment to an exceptional end product! What you need to succeed Fitter trade, or heavy vehicle motor mechanic (HVM) with high mechanical aptitude; Essential to have hydraulic / pneumatic experience, as well as the ability to read schematics; Strong diagnostics and fault-finding experience within the equipment building industry (industries relating to equipment within mining, civil, plant); Proven background in a service role, high pressure vacuum & water pump experience highly advantageous; Ability to work autonomously and confident customer facing skills; Be highly organised and have the ability to work across varied systems to report on diagnostics, and overall maintenance findings; Valid current drivers licence & flexibility with the extremely rare afterhours / regional / interstate requirements shared with the team.
